TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PRICE VARIATIONS – All quotes are estimated upon the information provided at the point of placing the order. All quotes are estimated, these can be changed or altered. Prices are quoted upon the assumption that no unreasonable delay will occur. A standard pump includes 30 meters of pipeline. Additional pipeline will incur an additional charge.
WAITING TIME – Once the allocated time period agreed for the pumping vehicle to be on site has been exceeded, waiting time will begin to be charged. Our time on site is calculated from when we arrive on site and start to set up equipment, then until all equipment is washed down, paperwork is completed and we leave site. Additional time onsite for line pump hire is charged at £80.00 + vat per additional hour and £100.00 + vat per additional hour on the boom pump hire.
If you (the customer) orders insufficient concrete and our concrete pump has to wait onsite for additional mixers to return to complete the order. Additional waiting charges will occur while our pump is waiting for additional mixers on site.
EXTRA WATER – PUMP MIX may require additional water to be added effecting strength of workability. If water is added the customer will be informed and may be advised to increase cement content to compensate. This may result in a price increase for the cement mix quoted originally.
CANCELLATIONS – No charge will be made for cancellation by you up to 3 hours before time of departure except in the event that the goods have been specifically processed to meet your requirements you will meet the expense incurred. Services ordered and delivered to site must be paid in full. Anything less than 3 hours will be charged at 50%.
CUSTOMERS SIGNATURES – At KCG, a customer’s signature on our delivery ticket will be deemed acknowledgement and acceptance of the information from the job we have listed on the ticket, any waiting times or fuel charges, the price of the job and these conditions of sale.
CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS - We shall in no circumstance be liable for consequential loss or damage.
DAMAGES – KCG cannot be held accountable if in any instance there is concrete or oil splashes/spillages onto land around where it is parked. The customer is responsible for where the vehicle is asked to drive onto at your site, this is at the customers discretion and we cannot be held accountable for any damages to ground or areas around which may occur as result of vehicle weight/spillages.
SITE INDUCTIONS – You must inform us prior to delivery if our operatives need to complete a site induction. The time taken to complete the induction will be charged as waiting time.
HEALTH & SAFETY – Upon arrival on-site it is the responsibility of the customer/site manager to ensure all members of the general public are kept at a safe distance form pumping equipment and pipeline. It is the customer responsibility to provide safety fencing and safety advice to its workers and general public that may come into close proximity of the equipment whilst pumping.
TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT - KCG can take no responsibility for road closures. It is the responsibility of the customer/site manager to make arrangements prior to our vehicles arriving on-site. It is the customer’s responsibility to deal with neighbours and members of the public who wish to make a formal complaint. Any fines incurred whilst on-site will be at an additional cost to you (the customer).
ALL TIMES OF ARRIVAL ARE ESTIMATED AND WE, KINGSCROFT CONCRETE AND GRAB HIRE LTD (KCG), CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCES CAUSED DUE TO LATE ARRIVALS ON SITE. PLEASE TAKE THIS INFORMATION INTO CONDISERATION.
